Jabalpur, October 31, 2025

Under the directives of the Election Commission of India, a comprehensive training session for all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was organized today in Jabalpur district as part of the Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2026. The training sessions were held constituency-wise under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Mr. Raghvendra Singh.

During the session, Collector Mr. Singh visited JNVVV and Manas Bhavan, where he provided essential instructions and detailed guidance to the BLOs regarding the ongoing revision process. Similarly, Deputy District Election Officer Mrs. Jyoti Paraste attended the training in Panagar, where she trained the BLOs on Statistical Information Reports (SIRs) and their relevance to the revision work.

The primary objective of this special revision drive is to make the voter lists more accurate, updated, and error-free. As part of this initiative, BLOs will conduct door-to-door verification to collect voter information through enumeration forms. Voters will be encouraged to verify or link their names and those of their family members with records from previous SIR cycles (2002–2004).

Both voters and BLOs can utilize the Election Commission’s official website (https://voters.cci.gov.in/) for verification and related services. Form-6 and declaration forms will be collected for new voter registrations, and each BLO will visit every household at least three times to ensure data accuracy.

The enumeration period has been scheduled from November 4 to December 4, 2025, followed by the publication of the draft electoral roll on December 9, 2025. Claims and objections will be accepted from December 9, 2025, to January 8, 2026, and the final publication of the electoral rolls is slated for February 7, 2026.

This initiative aims to strengthen the integrity of the electoral process by ensuring transparent, inclusive, and accurate voter registration across the district.
