Tragic End to a Dream: Rajasthan’s MBBS Student Rahul Loses Battle for Life After Brain Hemorrhage in Kazakhstan

**

Jaipur: In a heartbreaking incident, Rahul Ghosalya, a medical student from Shahpura, Jaipur district, who was pursuing his MBBS in Kazakhstan, has passed away after battling for life for nearly two weeks. The 7 sisters’ only brother, Rahul had been airlifted to Jaipur after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage on October 8, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved.

The Tragedy Unfolded Abroad

Rahul, a promising young student from Nayabas village, suddenly collapsed in Kazakhstan after suffering a brain hemorrhage. His friends immediately rushed him to a local hospital, where he remained unconscious. As his condition worsened, his family was informed back home in Rajasthan. However, due to travel difficulties and visa constraints, no family member could reach him in time.

When the news reached local authorities and the media, the Rajasthan government and the Ministry of External Affairs intervened. With their support, Rahul was airlifted from Kazakhstan to Jaipur via an air ambulance.

Fought for 13 Days — But Couldn’t Be Saved

Doctors at SMS Hospital, Jaipur, tried every possible treatment to revive the young student. He remained on life support for 13 days, but his condition continued to deteriorate. Tragically, Rahul succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and the entire village in deep shock.

The Only Brother to Seven Sisters

Rahul was the only brother among seven sisters, the youngest and most cherished child of the family. His parents had sent him abroad with hopes of seeing their son become a doctor and fulfill his lifelong dream. Unfortunately, fate had other plans — the boy who went to become a doctor never returned alive.

Government Efforts Fell Short

Despite urgent intervention and medical assistance arranged by both the state government and the Ministry of External Affairs, the efforts to save Rahul proved unsuccessful. The incident has once again raised concerns about the lack of adequate support systems for Indian students studying abroad in medical universities.

Rahul’s death has left an entire community mourning — a family that had pinned its hopes on one son among seven daughters now faces an unbearable void.

“He went abroad to heal others, but destiny didn’t let him heal himself,” said a grieving neighbor, reflecting the sorrow that now engulfs the Shahpura village.

Headline Summary:
