Tragic Accident in Fatehabad: Pickup Collides with Bike, Rider Burns Alive

A horrific road accident shook Fatehabad district late Monday night when a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle, causing it to burst into flames. The fire was so intense that the biker, identified as 40-year-old Sandeep Kumar from Alipur Barota village, died on the spot, unable to escape the burning vehicle.


How the Accident Happened

Sandeep Kumar was returning from Ratia to his village when the tragedy struck near Gurdwara Ajitsar. A speeding pickup truck rammed into his bike head-on, igniting a fire that quickly engulfed the motorcycle. Eyewitnesses immediately alerted authorities by dialing 112.


No Chance to Escape

The victim had no opportunity to jump off or save himself as the flames rapidly consumed the bike. Firefighters arrived at the scene and battled the blaze, but it was too late to save Sandeep, whose body was severely burned. His charred body was sent to Fatehabad Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.


Pickup Driver Flees

The pickup truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. Police have launched a search operation to apprehend the driver and are continuing the investigation into the fatal incident.

This tragic event highlights the dangers of speeding and reckless driving, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.
