Seminar on World Savings Day Organized at IIPS: Students Encouraged to Embrace Financial Literacy and the Habit of Saving

The International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS), Samrat Vikramaditya University, Ujjain, organized a one-day awareness seminar on the occasion of World Savings Day to promote financial literacy and emphasize the importance of developing saving habits among students.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Neha Verma, setting the tone for an insightful and engaging session. The chief guests for the seminar were Mr. Sunil Kumar Solanki and Mr. Bharat Kumar Dubey from the Department of Posts, who shared valuable insights on the importance of savings, financial planning, and disciplined money management.

Addressing the gathering, Head of Department, Dr. S. K. Mishra, highlighted that “today’s savings become the foundation for tomorrow’s dreams,” motivating students to begin financial planning early in life.

Faculty members Dr. Nidhi Chauhan and Dr. Chhaya Arya also guided the students on adopting practical saving habits and making informed financial decisions for a secure future.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Program Coordinator, Dr. Nagesh Parashar, who expressed gratitude to the guests, faculty, and students for their enthusiastic participation and contribution to spreading awareness about the value of savings.
