Santosh Supekar Honoured with “Kshitij Short Story Shikhar Samman – 2025″

Renowned short story writer Santosh Supekar from Ujjain has been honoured with the Kshitij Short Story Shikhar Samman – 2025 at the All India Short Story Conference organized by Kshitij Sahitya Sanstha, Indore.

Sharing the information, Rajendra Devdhare ‘Darpan’ of Sarl Kavyanjali informed that the honour was presented by eminent litterateur Dr. Narmadaprasad Upadhyay, Rakesh Sharma, editor of Veena magazine, and Satish Rathi, president of Kshitij. The award included a shawl, coconut, memento, and cash prize.

On this occasion, while addressing the gathering, Supekar spoke about the “Kaal Khand Dosh” (Time Sequence Error) in short stories. He explained, “When the flow of time in a story becomes inconsistent or disordered, creating confusion or obscurity in the narrative, it reflects a lapse in the writer’s craftsmanship.”

The event brought together eminent writers and literary enthusiasts from across the country to celebrate excellence in contemporary short fiction.
