*Run for Unity Marks Sardar Patel Jayanti Celebration in Jabalpur

A grand “Run for Unity – Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” event was organized in Jabalpur to commemorate the birth anniversary of Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, students, and officials, symbolizing the spirit of national unity and integrity.

The event was graced by BJP National General Secretary Mr. B.L. Santosh as the chief guest. Prominent dignitaries present included Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Sumitra Valmiki, MLAs Mr. Ashok Rohani, Mr. Neeraj Singh, and Mr. Ajay Vishnoi, Municipal Corporation Chairman Mr. Rikunj Vij, City BJP President Mr. Ratnesh Sonkar, Rural President Mr. Rajkumar Patel, State Treasurer Mr. Akhilesh Jain, Mr. Sandeep Jain, Mr. Sonu Bachwani, Mr. Kamlesh Agarwal, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, Mr. Pankaj Dubey, and Mrs. Swati Godbole, among others. Collector Mr. Raghvendra Singh and District Education Officer Mr. Ghanshyam Soni were also in attendance.

The ceremony commenced with floral tributes to Sardar Patel and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by inspiring addresses emphasizing unity and patriotism.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. B.L. Santosh said, “Run for Unity is not just a race—it is a symbol of India’s strength, integrity, and oneness. Sardar Patel’s vision and resolve united this great nation, and it is our duty to carry forward his legacy of unity and determination.” He added that the run signifies not competition but a collective commitment to national integrity and vigilance in safeguarding India’s freedom and solidarity.

Following his address, Mr. Santosh flagged off the Run for Unity with the traditional chant of “Om,” signaling the start of the event. Hundreds of enthusiastic youths, volunteers, and citizens joined the run with patriotic fervor, filling the streets with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Sardar Patel Amar Rahein.”

During the ceremony, Mrs. Sumitra Valmiki administered the National Unity Pledge, urging everyone to uphold the ideals of Sardar Patel and contribute to the nation’s unity and strength.

The event concluded on a resounding note of patriotism, with the atmosphere reverberating with the spirit of unity, discipline, and national pride—truly embodying the message of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
