The inspection covered key points including Saraswati Ghat and Lamheta Ghat, where both officers reviewed safety and management preparations.

During the inspection, the Collector instructed all concerned officials to ensure that all facilities and safety measures for the pilgrims are fully in place. He emphasized that special focus should be given to security, crowd management, and boating arrangements, as a large number of devotees are expected to participate in the 468th Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama, which will commence from the Hare Krishna Ashram, Bhedaghat.

It was informed that the Panchkoshi Yatra will begin at 5:00 a.m. from Saraswati Ghat, Hare Krishna Ashram, and devotees will be ferried by boat from Lamheta Ghat to Lamheti village until 1:30 p.m. Later, pilgrims will be transported from Gwari village to Saraswati Ghat by boat before sunset.

Officials have mandated that every devotee must wear a life jacket before boarding the boats, ensuring complete adherence to safety norms. The Collector and SP also directed local authorities to maintain adequate boat availability, medical assistance, and law enforcement presence at all major ghats to facilitate a peaceful and well-organized pilgrimage.
