Collector and SP Review Arrangements for Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama

Collector Mr. Raghvendra Singh and Superintendent of Police Mr. Sampat Upadhyay conducted an inspection of the arrangements for the upcoming Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama, scheduled to take place on November 5 on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. The officers reviewed preparations at Saraswati Ghat and Lamheta Ghat and directed all concerned officials to ensure comprehensive management and safety measures for the devotees.

It was informed that the 468th Narmada Panchkoshi Parikrama, organized by Hare Krishna Ashram, Bhedaghat, will witness participation of a large number of devotees. Special emphasis has been laid on safety arrangements, particularly at Lamheta Ghat and Saraswati Ghat, where adequate boat services will be available.

The sacred journey will commence from Saraswati Ghat, Hare Krishna Ashram, at 5:00 a.m., with devotees crossing from Lamheta Ghat to Lamheti village by boat until 1:30 p.m., and from Gwari village to Saraswati Ghat before sunset.

Authorities have also made it mandatory for all devotees to wear life jackets before boarding boats, ensuring maximum safety during the holy pilgrimage.
