Bulandshahr: Man Caught Spitting on Tandoori Rotis at Wedding Function, Handed Over to Police by Villagers

A shocking incident has surfaced from Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, where a man named Danish was caught spitting on tandoori rotis being prepared for guests at a wedding ceremony. The incident, recorded on a mobile phone by a villager, has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage.

The incident took place in Aterna village during the wedding of a Dalit man’s daughter. According to eyewitnesses, Danish, who was in charge of preparing tandoori rotis for the guests, was seen deliberately spitting on the rotis before placing them in the tandoor. When villagers noticed his act, they immediately confronted him.

Despite being questioned, Danish failed to give any reason for his behavior. Furious guests and locals caught him on the spot and handed him over to the police.

Police confirm arrest and legal action
According to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Pahasu Police Station, a formal complaint was filed by the victim’s family. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against Danish under relevant sections of law. The accused, a resident of Pathan Tola area of Pahasu town, has been arrested and sent to jail after preliminary investigation.

Locals demand strict punishment
Villagers stated that they noticed the act while eating and immediately informed others. “We saw him spitting on the rotis. Such an act is unacceptable, especially during a sacred ceremony like a wedding. We handed him over to the police and demand strict punishment,” said one of the villagers.

The viral video has drawn sharp criticism from the public, with many social media users demanding stringent action to prevent such offensive and unhygienic behavior in the future.
