Storyteller Indresh Upadhyay and his newlywed wife Shipra Sharma have once again captured public attention. The couple visited a temple together for the first time after their wedding to seek blessings, and their simple yet elegant appearance won hearts instantly. Their pictures from the visit have gone viral on social media.
First Temple Visit as Husband and Wife
Following their lavish wedding at Taj Amar Hotel, Jaipur, Shipra’s beauty and grace continued to impress. The newlyweds traveled to the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, marking their first temple visit together. Shipra wore traditional attire, adorning her hair with a gajra, giving her a stunning South Indian look that captured everyone’s attention.
Indresh’s Traditional Elegance
Indresh Maharaj complemented his wife’s look with a traditional dhoti and angavastram (uttariya). He was seen in two variations: first, a white dhoti with a golden border paired with a saffron angavastram draped over one shoulder, and second, a white dhoti with a matching angavastram draped over both shoulders. His regal Vedic wedding style resonated even in his temple appearance.
Shipra’s Graceful Saree Looks
Shipra showcased two beautiful looks in silk sarees. In her first look, she wore a pink and mehndi-green saree with golden zari work on the wide pink border and floral patterns on the green pallu. The open pallu style enhanced the elegance and vibrant appeal of the saree.
For her second look, Shipra opted for simplicity and class, wearing a dark green silk saree with a brownish-golden border and Jaipur-inspired floral dotted design in white and yellow. She draped the open pallu over one shoulder, maintaining a natural and elegant style.
Minimalistic Accessories
Shipra kept her accessories minimal, wearing only red bangles, which highlighted her natural beauty. She skipped earrings and other jewelry. Indresh wore three tulsi malas around his neck and a kada on his wrist. Both added garlands (gajra) to complete their traditional look, with Shipra styling her hair in a side-parted half pin-up adorned with the floral gajra. The couple opted for a simple, makeup-free appearance, showcasing elegance and cultural grace.
A Perfect Blend of Tradition and Simplicity
The couple’s first temple outing post-wedding perfectly captured the balance of tradition, simplicity, and elegance. Shipra’s South Indian-inspired bridal look, combined with Indresh’s Vedic attire, left a lasting impression on admirers.
