Royal celebrations filled the historic Laxmi Vilas Palace as Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad of Baroda embraced motherhood for the first time, welcoming a baby girl amid age-old traditions and regal elegance. The naming ceremony of the newborn princess was held in the palace’s grand Durbar Hall, where the infant was lovingly placed in a silver cradle, marking a moment of immense joy for the royal family.
The baby girl was named Padmjaraje Gaekwad, a name announced in the presence of close family members and well-wishers. The ceremony was attended by Maharani Radhikaraje and her husband, former cricketer and Maharaja Samarjitsinh Gaekwad, who together celebrated the arrival of their daughter in a deeply traditional yet graceful setting.

Known internationally for her elegance and refined sense of style, Maharani Radhikaraje Gaekwad once again captured attention as she appeared in a yellow silk saree, symbolising prosperity and new beginnings.
