Jaipur: The wedding festivities of storyteller Indresh Upadhyay began in full swing yesterday with the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies, where his bride-to-be, Shipra, made her first grand appearance. The bride, adorned in a stunning ensemble, captured everyone’s attention, her elegance reminiscent of Radha Rani.
Bride Steals the Spotlight
Indresh Upadhyay and Shipra are set to tie the knot today in Haryana. The wedding celebrations have been closely followed for days, starting with the Baraat in Vrindavan and the Kua Poojan ceremony, before arriving in Jaipur where the bride and her family had already arrived.
Photos from the Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies showcased Shipra’s radiant charm. Dressed in a regal lehenga, she looked nothing short of a princess, earning compliments from all attendees. Her intricate ensemble, adorned with delicate embroidery, sequins, and floral motifs, highlighted her grace, making her the center of attention even more than the groom.
Indresh’s Traditional Look
The 27-year-old storyteller, usually seen in simple, desi attire, impressed guests with a vibrant Mehendi look. He wore a green kurta paired with a white dhoti, accentuated with red and gold borders. Golden floral motifs on the kurta and elegant bell-shaped designs on the sleeves and shoulders perfectly complemented Shipra’s attire. A pink sash tied the couple’s looks together, making them a picture-perfect pair.
Shipra’s Stunning Pink Lehenga
Shipra’s pink Rajasthani lehenga was a blend of tradition and elegance. The choli and lehenga featured exquisite Gota Patti work, while sequined floral motifs added a subtle sparkle. The dupatta showcased floral borders, complemented by simple golden lace on one side and delicate Kiran lace on the other. Her radiant smile and traditional jewelry—including maang tikka, bodla, nath, statement necklace, and jhumkas—enhanced her royal aura, leaving onlookers captivated.
Music Ceremony Glamour
During the Sangeet, Shipra switched to a beautifully embellished lehenga adorned with stars, colorful embroidery, and intricate floral patterns. Paired with a half-sleeve blouse and pleated dupatta draped like a saree pallu, her soft curls and jewelry completed the regal look. Indresh also changed into a plain kurta and dhoti, paired with a star-studded jacket that perfectly complemented Shipra’s attire. Together, they charmed everyone present, making the pre-wedding festivities truly memorable.
