Priyanka Chopra once again proved why she remains a global fashion icon. At the world premiere of her film “The Bluff” in Los Angeles, Priyanka turned the red carpet into her runway, showcasing two striking looks that blended traditional Indian elements with modern flair.
Red Carpet Premiere Look
For the premiere, Priyanka embodied her character Arcel Bowden, donning a bold armor-inspired gown designed by costume designer Antoinette Messam in collaboration with Australian artisans. This black-and-dark-brown piece, crafted over three months, featured a corset-style bodice with shiny brown accents and buckle detailing on the sides. A thigh-high slit and soft flowing brown skirt with gathered pleats enhanced movement, while a long back trail added a dramatic flair, perfect for the red carpet.
Priyanka paired this look with brown open-toe heels and a silver-tone choker featuring a large dark stone at the center, giving her a vintage yet contemporary vibe.
Modern Sanskari Saree-Inspired Gown
For the after-party, Priyanka embraced a modern “saree-inspired” gown in bright yellow, paying homage to traditional Indian draping while keeping it stylish and global. The gown featured a one-shoulder design, corset detailing at the waist, and a pleated “pallu” draped over the head, flowing down to a mini skirt with pleated dhoti-style elements. A thigh-high slit highlighted her metallic pointed heels, creating a glamorous and elegant silhouette.
Completing the look, Priyanka carried a mini treasure chest bag by Judith Leiber, adorned with colorful and dark hematite crystals, valued at $7,295 (₹6.63 lakh).
Attention to Detail
Priyanka’s meticulous styling ensured every element complemented the outfit. From flowing pleats to high slits and coordinated accessories, each choice elevated her appearance. Together with her foreign husband Nick Jonas, she radiated a perfect blend of modern glamour and cultural homage, earning admiration on social media worldwide.
