Rising pollution, stress, and harsh weather often leave the skin dull, oily, or irritated. If you are facing similar issues, this simple and affordable remedy may be just what you need. We are talking about rose water, a product available for as little as ₹40.
Content creator Rohit Sachdeva recently shared a video highlighting five effective ways to use rose water to treat five common skin concerns — including early signs of ageing.
Use Rose Water as a Natural Toner
Rose water works as a gentle, refreshing toner. After washing your face, simply spray rose water directly onto your skin. It helps maintain natural hydration, reduces dullness, and leaves your skin fresh and glowing throughout the day.
Here are the five best ways to use rose water in your skincare routine:
1. Treating Pimples
For acne-prone skin, mix rose water with neem powder and apply it to your face. This combination helps reduce pimples, clears excess oil, and makes the skin soft and visibly clearer.
2. Reducing Wrinkles
Early signs of ageing often appear in the form of wrinkles. To tighten the skin and reduce fine lines, mix sandalwood powder with rose water and apply it as a face pack. This helps improve skin elasticity and may reduce visible wrinkles.
3. Shrinking Open Pores
If you struggle with open pores, prepare a pack using multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth) and rose water.
This mixture helps:
- Shrink enlarged pores
- Reduce excessive oil
- Smoothen skin texture
4. Removing Tanning
To lighten tanning and remove accumulated dirt, mix besan (gram flour), a pinch of turmeric, and rose water into a smooth paste. Apply it to your face to help fade the dark layer caused by sun exposure and bring back natural radiance.
5. Reducing Pigmentation
For pigmentation and dark spots, mix licorice (mulethi) powder with rose water and apply it regularly. This remedy helps even out the skin tone, reduces spots, and gives a clearer, brighter complexion.
