Bihar-cadre IAS officer Kritika Mishra recently tied the knot with UP-cadre IAS officer Ankur Tripathi, and the couple’s wedding pictures are winning hearts on social media. Kritika looked radiant in a traditional maroon lehenga, while Ankur complemented her elegance in a regal sherwani.

The couple, who met at LBSNAA, got engaged last December. Their love story, rekindled during a reunion at the Mahakumbh, had already captured public attention. Now, their wedding celebrations in Kanpur are making headlines, with Kritika’s bridal ensemble stealing the spotlight.

For her wedding, Kritika opted for a traditional bridal look rather than following current fashion trends. Her maroon lehenga featured subtle red accents, adding a royal touch and perfectly complementing her pastel undertones. Ankur, in turn, added maroon accents to his cream-and-gold sherwani, complete with a matching stole, embroidered with golden floral patterns, and a coordinated turban. His golden and maroon beads necklace and kalgi further enhanced the regal aura.

Kritika’s velvet lehenga was adorned with heavy zardozi, silk, and stone embroidery, balancing tradition with elegance. The upper portion was relatively light, while the lower half featured intricate motifs like peacocks, floral patterns, and vines, creating a stunning visual impact.

Her blouse matched the lehenga in richness, featuring a round neckline, half sleeves, and intricate golden floral embroidery, harmonizing perfectly with her bridal attire.

The bride styled two dupattas – a velvet side drape adorned with floral motifs and a net dupatta over her head, decorated with all-over floral designs. Her jewelry added a striking contrast, featuring green pearls and stone-studded necklace, matching maang tika, nath, jhumkas, and hand accessories, along with classic bridal bangles and kalire. Kritika completed her look with soft glam makeup and a neatly styled bun, achieving a head-to-toe flawless and classy appearance.
