Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Poster Goes Viral: Fans Call It a Warning Ahead of 100-Day Countdown to 19 March 2026 Release

The countdown has begun for the release of Pan-India superstar Yash’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. With exactly 100 days left for its release on 19 March 2026, a striking new poster featuring Yash sitting in a blood-soaked bathtub has taken the internet by storm. Fans are calling it a “warning” rather than just a poster and are already suggesting that the makers of Dhurandhar Part 2 reconsider their release date.

100 Days to Go: Eid and Gudi Padwa Release

Following the massive success of KGF Chapter 2, Toxic marks Yash’s first film after the franchise. Scheduled to release on 19 March 2026, coinciding with Eid and Gudi Padwa, the gangster drama promises an overdose of action for fans of the “Rocky Bhai” star. Interestingly, Dhurandhar Part 2 starring Ranveer Singh is also set to release on the same date, setting up a potential box-office clash.

A Mysterious and Captivating Poster

The new poster shows Yash reclining in a bathtub drenched in blood, with his muscular frame adorned with tattoos. Light streams from a balcony, partially obscuring his face, adding to the intrigue. Yash shared the poster himself, writing:
“The fairy tale will be revealed in 100 days.”

Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team

The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas, who co-wrote the story with Yash. The ensemble cast features five leading ladies: South superstar Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth of Kantara Chapter 1, and Bollywood stars Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. The supporting cast includes Tovino Thomas, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair.

Music, Cinematography, and Action

National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi leads the film’s visual language, while Ravi Basrur, known for his music in the KGF series, has composed the soundtrack. Editing is handled by Ujjwal Kulkarni. High-octane action sequences are choreographed by JJ Perry, famed for his work in the John Wick series. Originally shot in Kannada, the film will also be released in English and dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages.

Fan Frenzy Already Underway

Fans have flooded social media with comments, calling the poster “a warning” and urging a change in Dhurandhar 2’s release date. One fan wrote, “This isn’t a poster, it’s magic… how will we wait 100 days?” The anticipation for Toxic is now at an all-time high, promising one of the most exciting releases of 2026.
