Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan recently found himself at the centre of dating rumours after a series of photographs from Goa went viral on social media. The pictures sparked speculation that the actor was vacationing with a “mystery girl,” who was reportedly not from the film industry. However, the woman in question has now broken her silence and categorically denied the rumours.
The so-called “mystery girl” has been identified as Karina Kubiliute. According to reports, Karina is a 17-year-old student from the United Kingdom and is currently studying at Carlisle College in Britain. During Kartik Aaryan’s Goa trip, both were spotted separately in similar locations, and some of their vacation pictures appeared strikingly alike. This led social media users on platforms like X and Reddit to speculate that the two were holidaying together.
As the rumours gained momentum, internet users began digging into Karina’s background, tracking her social media activity and linking it to Kartik’s movements. Adding fuel to the speculation were claims that Kartik Aaryan had been following Karina on Instagram but later unfollowed her. Neither Kartik nor Karina initially reacted to these claims, but the buzz continued to grow online.
Now, Karina Kubiliute has finally addressed the rumours. Responding to a comment on social media, she clearly stated that she is not Kartik Aaryan’s girlfriend. A screenshot of her comment has since gone viral, putting an end—at least for now—to the dating speculation surrounding the two.
Kartik Aaryan, who is often in the news for his personal life, has previously been linked with several actresses, including Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Pashmina Roshan, Sreeleela, Janhvi Kapoor, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The latest rumours, however, appear to be unfounded, as clarified by Karina herself.
With both Karina’s denial and Kartik’s reported Instagram unfollow, the actor’s Goa “mystery girl” episode seems to have been blown out of proportion—another reminder of how quickly speculation can turn into headlines in the age of social media.
