“We Are Being Pushed Around for Our Son Sidhu Moosewala’s Money,” Mother Charn Kaur Alleges Outside SSP Office

The parents of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala staged a protest outside the SSP office in Mansa, demanding justice over alleged financial mismanagement of their son’s earnings. Charn Kaur and Balkar Singh, along with their younger son Sidhu, claimed that the managers of Moosewala’s companies were misappropriating funds, keeping them away from the family. The protest comes amid frustrations over delays in police action, while the DIG assured them of proper investigation.

Parents Allege Financial Irregularities
According to reports from ANI, the singer’s parents filed complaints against Moosewala’s managers—Bunty Bains, Gurpreet Singh Bhaseen, and Shabbir Momin—for allegedly mishandling the late singer’s finances. However, they claimed that the Punjab Police have yet to take substantive action, and no FIR has been registered in the matter.

Speaking to the media, Balkar Singh said, “We are being kept away from the earnings generated by our own son. I had filed complaints against Bunty Bains, Gurpreet Singh Bhaseen, and Shabbir Momin, which were sent to the SSP for investigation, but nothing has happened.”

Parents Frustrated Over Six-Month Delay
The family revealed that they had approached the DGP Punjab on June 8, 2025, regarding the management of Sidhu Moosewala’s companies and the alleged irregularities by the managers. Six months later, they claim, the case file has not even been examined. All necessary documents and records have been submitted to the police, yet the managers continue to control the singer’s earnings, denying the family their rightful share.

DIG Assures Action
The grieving parents expressed that they have already endured tremendous struggles seeking justice for their son’s murder, and now they are facing hurdles in claiming his rightful earnings. They also criticized the Punjab government, noting that while Delhi Police apprehended gangsters involved in the murder, Punjab Police allegedly allowed them to escape. Meanwhile, Bathinda Range DIG Harjit Singh met the family and assured them that appropriate action will be taken.

Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case Update

In connection with the murder, shooters Jagrup and Manu Kosa were killed in an encounter in Amritsar. The case also names Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria as accused, who continue to face court proceedings via video conferencing.
