Vijay’s luxurious Jubilee Hills home in Hyderabad is currently aglow with lights, creating a festive atmosphere. Social media has captured glimpses of the decorated home. Reports suggest the couple may tie the knot on 26 February, followed by a grand reception in Hyderabad on 4 March.

Earlier reports indicated that the wedding might take place at a grand palace in Udaipur as a private affair. However, neither the actors nor their families have issued an official statement about the venue or ceremony.

Adding fuel to wedding rumors, the couple’s supposed invitation card has surfaced on social media. Along with the card, the invitation box appears to contain some gift items. According to the card, the private wedding ceremony is scheduled for 26 February 2026, followed by a grand Hyderabad reception on 4 March.
The card reportedly from Vijay reads:
“I am writing to share some special news and invite you to be part of this historic moment. With the love and blessings of our families, Rashmika and I will be married in a small and private ceremony on 26 February 2026.”
It continues:
“As we begin this new chapter of our lives, celebrating our union and creating memories, it means a lot for us to celebrate with those who have been part of our journey. Your presence and blessings will make this occasion even more special. We warmly invite you to join our wedding ceremony and bless us.”
The card ends with:
“We look forward to celebrating together. Best wishes, Vijay (on behalf of Rashmika and myself).”
However, it remains unconfirmed whether this card is genuine or simply a viral mock-up circulating online.

Vijay and Rashmika have shared screen space in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, fueling speculation about a possible off-screen romance. Reports of vacations together and social media interactions have often added to these rumors.
Rashmika’s Past Engagement
It is worth noting that both actors have previously maintained that they are just friends. Rashmika had earlier been engaged to co-star Rakshit Shetty during the shoot of Kirik Party. The engagement, held on 3 July 2017 in her hometown Virajpet, was later called off by mutual consent in September 2018.
