A video featuring actress Upasana Singh has gone viral in which she accuses actor Deepak Qazir Kejriwal of physical assault and misbehavior. The clip, recorded on 26 January, surfaced online 10 days later. The reason behind the altercation has not been disclosed.
The Viral Video:
Deepak Qazir Kejriwal, known for shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki, is seen in the video alongside Upasana Singh, who is also the General Secretary of CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists Association). During an event on Republic Day, a disagreement erupted between the two. Upasana claims that the actor misbehaved with her and physically assaulted a colleague, Vikas Verma, while also showing disrespect toward female members.
In the video, Upasana Singh addresses the audience with a microphone while actors like Poonam Dhillon and Manoj Joshi stand nearby. Deepak attempts to stop her speaking, to which Upasana responds that she is addressing the crowd. When Deepak and Senior Joint Secretary Hemant Pandey raise the microphone shouting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” Deepak allegedly grabs the mic with force and walks away.
The Confrontation:
Some members tried to calm Deepak, but Upasana confronted him directly, asserting her authority: “Tell me, who am I? I am the General Secretary of CINTAA.” Deepak responded that he was the Vice President, to which Upasana replied, “Was…” and later accused him on camera:
“He just slapped Vikas Verma and used abusive language. He is misbehaving with ladies as well.”
Deepak denied any wrongdoing, saying, “I have not misbehaved with you,” while Upasana countered, “You are misbehaving with me by questioning my authority.”
