Tanya Mittal Shares Family Glimpse but Omits Parents, Sparks Questions Online

Tanya Mittal, the 30-year-old businesswoman from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, who rose to fame during Bigg Boss 19, recently offered fans a peek into her family life—but noticeably left out her parents, drawing curiosity and criticism on social media.

Throughout her stint on the reality show, Tanya made headlines not only for reaching the top 5 and finishing fourth but also for her lifestyle, outspoken personality, and controversies surrounding her wealth. She faced significant scrutiny over accusations of portraying a “constructed image” and flaunting her affluence.

Family Videos Raise Eyebrows

Recently, Tanya posted Diwali greetings on social media, sharing videos that showcased her extended family. The clips included her maternal uncle and aunt (mama-mami), their children, and in-laws. However, there was no mention or appearance of her parents or siblings. Fans immediately noticed this omission and questioned why she chose to highlight only wealthy relatives while keeping her immediate family absent.

Responding to Criticism

In a post-show interview, Tanya addressed claims of being “fake,” reflecting on the mentally exhausting experience inside the Bigg Boss house. She stated, “People may have different opinions about me, but they couldn’t ignore me.”

On questions about her lifestyle, Tanya added, “I was raised with a particular lifestyle, and I don’t think that should be questioned. If I choose to live a certain way, it’s because I can and I work hard for it. It doesn’t make me showy. If a 30-year-old woman can take care of her needs and desires, what’s wrong with that?”

Tanya’s latest posts have reignited discussions online, with fans debating the reasons behind the absence of her parents and siblings, while also reflecting on the image she projects in public versus her private life.
