Smriti Mandhana’s Friend Alleges Singer Palaash Muchhal Caught in Bed with Another Woman; Assault Reported

Singer Palaash Muchhal is once again in the news following allegations by a friend of cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The friend claims that Muchhal was caught in bed with another woman before his marriage, resulting in an alleged physical altercation involving Indian women cricketers.

Allegations Against Palaash Muchhal and His Family
Muchhal has been under scrutiny in recent months, first due to allegations of cheating Smriti Mandhana, which reportedly led to the cancellation of their marriage. Recently, Vidyan Mane, an actor-director and a childhood friend of Mandhana, accused Muchhal of defrauding him of ₹40 lakh while promising to make a film, claiming that the funds were never used for the project. The complaint was filed in Sangli, Maharashtra.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Vidyan claimed that during Muchhal’s wedding function in November 2025, he witnessed the singer in bed with another woman. “I attended the wedding on November 23. There, Palaash was caught red-handed with another woman in bed. It was a shocking scene. Indian women cricketers allegedly assaulted him. His entire family is deceitful. I thought he would settle down in Sangli after marriage, but it backfired on me,” he said.

Financial Dispute Over Film Project
Vidyan further alleged that he had invested ₹40 lakh to co-produce a film with Muchhal and his family. Later, he was asked to contribute an additional ₹10 lakh or risk losing the initial investment. “When I met Amita Muchhal last month, she said the film’s release budget had increased to ₹1.5 crore. They began blackmailing me and threatening to remove me from the project, leaving me no choice but to file a complaint,” Vidyan claimed.

He added that after Muchhal’s marriage ended, he lost all contact with the singer. “His family blocked me everywhere. I later found out that artists who were supposed to be paid for the film were not paid either. In the film industry, I’ve heard of producers cheating directors, but this is outright theft,” he said.

Vidyan also stated that he has evidence, including call recordings and chat messages, which he is ready to share with authorities and the media.

Palaash Muchhal’s Response
Muchhal has denied all allegations. On Instagram, he stated that the claims made by Vidyan in Sangli are completely false and factually incorrect. He asserted that these accusations were made to tarnish his reputation and announced that he intends to take legal action, with his lawyer Shreyans Mithare currently handling the matter.
