Television actress and Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde has made a much-celebrated comeback as Angoori Bhabhi in “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain 2.0”, nearly ten years after she first brought the iconic character to life. The recently released promo has sparked immense excitement among fans, reviving fond memories and reaffirming her deep connection with audiences.

Speaking to the media, Shilpa expressed her emotions on returning to the show that defined a major phase of her career. “Coming back as Angoori Bhabhi after 10 years is truly a big moment for me. I never imagined I would return to this character, but life has its own way of bringing you back to where you truly belong. It feels like destiny had its own plan,” she said. Declaring her return with confidence, she added, “Your original Angoori Bhabhi is back.”

Shilpa revealed that even during her absence from the show, the character never left her. “People have always called me Angoori Bhabhi—on social media and in real life. Fans I didn’t even know would ask me when I would return. Today, I can finally tell them that I’m back,” she said.

The actress also shared how warmly she was welcomed by the team. “Asif, Rohitashwa, Vidisha and the entire cast and crew made me feel at home instantly. The love and emotional response to the promo have reassured me that Angoori Bhabhi truly belongs to the audience,” she noted.

Addressing past controversies with the makers, Shilpa struck a mature and reconciliatory tone. “Misunderstandings happen, even in families. Over time, relationships evolve. Once I said yes to returning, I didn’t overthink reactions—I followed my heart,” she stated. She clarified that earlier disputes were fueled by third-party interference and misinformation, which escalated matters unnecessarily.

Shilpa also emphasized the essence of the show, calling it a much-needed source of light-hearted entertainment. “The channel is once again bringing a clean, feel-good comedy that offers laughter and comfort in today’s fast-paced life.
