Sara Arjun’s Childhood Video Goes Viral: From Award Presenter at a Young Age to Bollywood Crush

Mumbai: Twenty-year-old Sara Arjun, who recently stole hearts in Dhurandhar alongside Ranveer Singh, has become the latest crush of Bollywood’s young generation. But her success didn’t happen overnight—it is the result of over 15 years of hard work. A nostalgic video of Sara from her childhood has resurfaced on social media, showing her on stage for the very first time—not to receive, but to present an award.

In Dhurandhar, Sara plays Yelina Jamali, the daughter of Pakistani leader Jamil Jamali. Her character falls in love with Ranveer Singh’s Hamza Ali Majari, defying her father’s luxurious lifestyle. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, released on December 5, 2025, and went on to become a global box office success, earning over ₹1,256 crore worldwide.

Sara’s screen journey began at just 18 months old when her first advertisement came about while she was in her father Raj Arjun’s arms at a mall. Since then, she has appeared in 11 films, including 404, Deiva Thirumagal, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and Ajeeb Daastan, before Dhurandhar cemented her stardom.

The viral childhood video shows Sara charming the audience as she nervously introduces herself: “This is my first time presenting an award.” Fans praised her poise, voice, and natural charisma, calling her “amazing” and noting that she truly deserved the spotlight in Dhurandhar.

Sara recently shared her thoughts on the film’s success: “Audiences have long been thought to have little patience for long stories, but you proved everyone wrong. You reminded the world of the real power of viewers.”

Excitingly, Dhurandhar Part 2 is set to release on March 19, 2026, continuing the saga set in Karachi’s Lyari area, known for gang wars and violent rivalries.
