Veteran Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan, father of actor Salman Khan, is currently admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. As the news of his hospitalization spread, several celebrities and well-wishers have expressed concern and prayed for his recovery.
Among them, Salman Khan’s former girlfriend Somy Ali has shared an emotional post on social media, expressing her sadness and recalling her personal experiences with Salim Khan and his family.
Somy Ali Calls Salim Khan “A Father Figure”
Somy Ali, who has often made headlines in the past for speaking openly against Salman Khan, surprised many by posting a heartfelt message for Salim Khan. In her Instagram note, she described him as a father-like figure and wrote that she was deeply saddened after hearing about his hospitalization.
She stated that while the world knows Salim Khan as a legendary writer who shaped Indian cinema, for her, he was much more than that.

Salim Khan in ICU, Condition Reportedly Stable
As per reports, Salim Khan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital’s ICU on Tuesday morning under the supervision of Dr. Jalil Parkar. Sources suggest he was experiencing swelling and was kept under observation as a precaution.
Doctors are closely monitoring his condition, and his health is said to be stable at present.
