Mumbai: Salman Khan’s upcoming film Battle of Galwan has released its first song, ‘Maatrubhumi’, just two days ahead of Republic Day. The song, which showcases moments of struggle, love, sacrifice, and national service, has already garnered over 1.5 lakh views within 32 minutes and is trending widely across platforms.

Composed by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, the patriotic track is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, blending emotion and fervor seamlessly. The song gives the first glimpse of the film’s musical journey, setting the tone for its story and heightening audience excitement.

In the visuals, Salman Khan appears as an Indian Army officer alongside Chitrangda Singh, portraying a natural on-screen chemistry. They are shown as a family with two children, balancing intimate home moments with the intensity of the Galwan conflict. The song highlights themes of duty, struggle, love, and sacrifice, creating a deeply emotional patriotic experience.

Himesh Reshammiya shared that composing ‘Maatrubhumi’ for Battle of Galwan was an emotional journey. “The song’s feel came from the rhythm and energy of the army itself. Collaborating with Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal was special, and working again with Salman Khan, under his music label, made the entire process even more memorable,” he said.

Produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Apurva Lakhiya, Battle of Galwan promises to tell a story of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism, with Chitrangda Singh in a lead role. The music is officially released under Salman Khan Films Music Label, with Sony Music India as the official distributor.
