Mumbai, 27 Nov 2025: The postponed wedding of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and Bollywood musician Palaash Muchhal has sparked widespread speculation online. While reports suggested the delay was due to the ill health of Smriti’s father, rumors about Palaash’s alleged misconduct also began circulating. Amidst this buzz, popular RJ Mahvash has taken a humorous dig at the musician without directly naming him.
Known for her witty Instagram clips, Mahvash posted a roast video immediately after the wedding postponement, which quickly went viral. In the video, she jokes about grooms who misbehave, saying, “Men can be such sweet things, but when asked, they’re single… I don’t know the truth or lies, but during my wedding, I would never introduce my groom online a week in advance.”
She continued with a playful warning: “To all the girls out there celebrating their honeymoon in someone’s DMs—take screenshots and share them with me, otherwise send them my way, I’ll make it public. I just want to enjoy my wedding peacefully… just let me know before the honeymoon. Even if it’s right before, that’s fine—just tell me.”
While her tone was humorous, social media users quickly linked her remarks to Palaash Muchhal, interpreting the video as a subtle jab at the musician in the context of his postponed wedding with Smriti Mandhana.
The couple was originally set to marry on 23 November, but the wedding was postponed due to the health concerns of Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana. Both families have now reported that he has been discharged from the hospital and is in stable condition. Palaash Muchhal, who had also been hospitalized, has since returned home.
