
Rhea Chakraborty is making her acting comeback after a seven-year hiatus following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress shared an emotional video on Instagram, writing, “It’s been seven years since I last stepped on a set, but I am still the same girl.”

Rhea will return to the screen through the web series Family Business. In her Instagram post on Wednesday, she expressed her excitement and emotions, revealing that this is her first time back on an OTT set since Sushant’s demise. In the video, Rhea appears visibly moved, explaining that while part of her life had moved on, another part remained waiting for this moment. “Here I am again, starting Chapter 2 of my life,” she said.
She added, “It’s been seven years since I last went on set, but I am still the same girl who came to Mumbai at 17 with a dream of becoming an actor. Part of me moved ahead, but a part waited—and now I’m back.”
