South Indian superstars Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are set to tie the knot on 26 February 2026 in Udaipur, and new details about their wedding have emerged. According to reports, the couple has planned a highly private ceremony, followed by a one-month vacation after the wedding.
Private Wedding with No Celebrities
Sources reveal that the wedding will be an intimate affair with only close family members and a handful of dear friends. No film industry colleagues or celebrities have been invited. A strict no-phone policy will be enforced at the venue, and the team responsible for capturing wedding photos has signed Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) to ensure complete privacy.
The pre-wedding celebrations will start on 24 February, culminating in the seven pheras on 26 February. Rashmika and Vijay have personally sent hand-written notes to invitees, requesting only blessings and explicitly mentioning no gifts.
Work Commitments and Film Projects
Both actors are currently managing multiple professional commitments. Reports suggest that Rashmika will take a one-month break after the wedding. She has also declined a romantic comedy project by director Amit Sharma, which Shahid Kapoor was reportedly associated with. The reasons cited include a packed schedule and her recent completion of ‘Cocktail 2’ with Shahid Kapoor.
Rashmika continues to have exciting projects lined up, including a film with Allu Arjun and Atlee, as well as the period-action film ‘Ranabali’, in which she stars opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by Rahul Sankrityayan, ‘Ranabali’ is based on true events from the 19th century (1854–1878) during the British colonial era and is scheduled for theatrical release on 11 September 2026.
Grand Reception in Hyderabad
Following the intimate Udaipur wedding, the couple will host a grand reception on 4 March 2026 in Hyderabad for friends, extended family, and industry colleagues.
This approach highlights the couple’s preference for a personal and traditional celebration, keeping the wedding away from social media attention while honoring family traditions.
