Rashami Desai Hints at Second Marriage in 2026, Opens Up About Motherhood and Adoption

Mumbai: Popular television actress Rashami Desai has hinted at the possibility of tying the knot for the second time in 2026. Known for her powerful performances and a much-discussed personal life, the Uttaran fame actress has now spoken candidly about marriage, relationships, and her views on motherhood.

In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Rashami shared that marriage is very much on her mind and that she is hopeful about the year 2026. “If I meet the right person, we will go ahead with it. I will definitely share the news. As we say, this is an auspicious year. With it being the year of the Sun, I feel it will be a good one for me,” she said, expressing optimism about her future.

The actress also spoke at length about relationships and family structures, emphasizing that every individual and couple has their own beliefs and way of life. “Some people feel a relationship alone is enough, while others want children. Some prefer adoption, some follow spirituality deeply. When it comes to family, there is no one-size-fits-all,” Rashami explained.

Opening up about her desire to become a mother, Rashami made it clear that she wants to have a child only after marriage. While she is open to both biological motherhood and adoption, she stressed the importance of having a father figure in her child’s life. “Whether I give birth or adopt, I want my child to have a father. That is very important to me,” she stated.

Elaborating further, Rashami said she believes in balance and equality. “I believe in Ardhanarishwar energy, where both masculine and feminine energies coexist. Every culture and religion acknowledges feminine energy. Who are we to change that balance? That is why I am waiting—for the right time and the right year. Hopefully, it will be soon,” she added.

Rashami Desai began her television career with Raavan and went on to appear in shows like Pari Hoon Main and Meet Mila De Rabba, but it was Uttaran that brought her widespread recognition. She later gained massive popularity through Bigg Boss 13.

On the personal front, Rashami was previously married to her Uttaran co-star Nandish Sandhu. The couple divorced in 2016. She was later linked to actor Arhaan Khan during Bigg Boss 13, but the relationship ended after the show. Since then, the actress has remained single and focused on her career.

With her honest views and renewed hope for the future, Rashami Desai’s statements have resonated with many, sparking conversations around marriage, motherhood, and modern family choices.
