Rani Chatterjee Makes Grand Entry as Rebel Bandit ‘Jwala’ in TV Show, Brings Thakurs to Their Knees

Mumbai – Bhojpuri cinema queen Rani Chatterjee is all set to enthrall audiences once again, this time as the fierce bandit Jwala in the upcoming TV show Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani. Known for her versatile acting in films, Rani’s entry on television promises a dramatic twist, as she arrives in a palanquin and immediately brings the powerful Thakurs to their knees.

Sharing glimpses on social media, Rani wrote, “Rebel Bandit Jwala Rani has entered the haveli… What does she want from the Thakurs? Find out on Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani, airing December 12, Friday at 9 PM.”

In the show, Rani dons dark attire, a red forehead band, and wields a gun, perfectly embodying her role as a fearless dacoit seeking revenge. Her dramatic entry is expected to shake up the dynamics of the haveli, especially affecting Ghevar (played by Gauri Shelgavkar) and Kunwar Kundan (Akash Jagga).

The storyline follows Ghevar, a girl from a poor family burdened with debt and family responsibilities, and Kunwar Kundan, a royal with a broken heart who values women’s respect. While Kunwar marries Ghevar to ease her struggles, love has yet to blossom between them. Rani Chatterjee’s entry introduces a major twist that will challenge the existing relationships and add intensity to the narrative.
