Rajpal Yadav’s Video with Premanand Maharaj Goes Viral Again: Did the Sage Foresee the Actor’s Trouble?

Mumbai/Delhi: A video of actor Rajpal Yadav meeting spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj nearly two months ago is making the rounds again, as netizens point out how the sage’s words appear almost prophetic in light of the actor’s current legal troubles. In the video, Maharaj is seen telling Rajpal, “If you face difficulties tomorrow, people will see Rajpal coming and move aside. Only God can truly support you in times of trouble.”

Rajpal Yadav’s Meeting with the Sage
The meeting took place in December 2025, when Rajpal Yadav visited Premanand Maharaj to seek guidance. In the video, the actor is seen sitting with folded hands on the ground, recounting his spiritual experiences and paying respects to his late mentor, Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri, who passed away in 2020. Rajpal reflects on his spiritual journey, including participating in multiple large-scale rituals and Yajnas, while balancing his acting career.

Premanand Maharaj advised him, “Life’s greatest benefit is keeping your mind with God. In life, troubles and hardships come, sometimes separation from loved ones, and at times situations arise that make living difficult. Only God can guide and support you through these moments. People may help when things are convenient, but in crisis, only God stands by you. Always remember Him, chant His name, and make life joyful. Learn to fight every adversity without giving up.”

Rajpal’s Reflections
Rajpal Yadav added, “Our guru, Prem Sugandh Maharaj, has shown me that scriptures are right and God exists. I wanted to say much more, but words fail me now.” He also humorously remarked about his wife Radha and family matters, prompting laughter from Maharaj and those present during the conversation.

Legal Background
Rajpal Yadav is currently serving a sentence in Tihar Jail in connection with a cheque bounce case dating back to 2010. The case stems from his directorial debut, Ata Pata Lapata, which flopped at the box office. He reportedly borrowed ₹5 crore from Murli Projects Pvt. Ltd. for the film, which later led to multiple legal cases over unpaid dues. On February 5, 2026, he surrendered to authorities, citing lack of funds as the reason.

The Delhi High Court recently ruled that Yadav must pay ₹1.35 crore in each of the seven cases filed against him, and directed that funds already deposited with the High Court Registrar General be released to the complainants. His bail hearing is scheduled for February 12, 2026.

As the video resurfaces, netizens are commenting on how Premanand Maharaj’s advice seems eerily prescient, highlighting the actor’s current challenges and the spiritual guidance he received before facing his legal battles.
