Rajpal Yadav’s Earnings From His Last Five Big-Budget Films Revealed Amid Legal Troubles

Veteran actor Rajpal Yadav, who was recently in jail due to a ₹9 crore cheque-bounce case, has received support from fellow Bollywood actors and close associates during his financial troubles. Following his release on bail, Yadav returned to work and has vowed to continue entertaining audiences with his signature comedy for years to come.

Reports suggest that Rajpal earned substantial fees from his recent big-budget films, with his earnings ranging between ₹1 crore to ₹3 crore per project. According to Koimoi, his total income from the last five major films amounts to approximately ₹7–8 crore.

Here’s a breakdown of his reported earnings:

  • Baby John (Varun Dhawan): ₹1 crore
  • Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: ₹2–3 crore (for his role as the small pandit)
  • Chandu Champion (Kartik Aaryan): ₹2 crore
  • Dream Girl 2 (Ayushmann Khurrana): ₹1 crore
  • Kathal (OTT film): ₹1 crore

Yadav, a prominent figure in Hindi cinema known for his comic timing, had surrendered to Tihar Jail on 5 February 2026 after the Delhi High Court directed him to appear over outstanding dues related to his 2010 film Ata Pata Lapata. He is currently out on bail, having attended his niece’s wedding shortly after his release. The next hearing in the cheque-bounce case is scheduled for 18 March 2026.

Despite his legal and financial troubles, Rajpal Yadav continues to enjoy widespread support within the industry, with many colleagues reportedly helping him navigate this challenging period.
