‘Pushpa 2’ Releases in Japan: Rashmika Mandanna Overwhelmed by Fans’ Letters and Gifts

Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun recently visited Japan to promote their 2024 blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film premiered in Japan on 16 January, where fans showered Rashmika with heartfelt letters and beautiful gifts. Upon returning home and reading the messages, the actress was visibly moved.

Rashmika Shares Her Experience
Rashmika took to Instagram to share glimpses from her trip, including a photo of herself reading numerous letters sent by her Japanese fans. In her caption, she wrote:

“I went to Japan for just one day, and the love I received in that single day was truly heartwarming. I got so many letters and gifts, and I read every single one of them. I brought all the gifts home. I can’t express how emotional I felt seeing all this. Thank you so much, Japan. I love you all and can’t wait to come back—but next time, I’ll stay longer, I promise. And I also promise to try learning more Japanese when I visit again.”

Appreciation for Japanese Fans
Rashmika also shared several photos and videos with Allu Arjun and the film’s producers during the promotional events. She captioned them, “Japan, you always fill my heart with happiness. The love, warmth, and enthusiasm of the people here never change. Whenever I come, I leave even more grateful.”

Tokyo Promotional Events
Prior to the premiere, Rashmika shared multiple pictures from promotional events in Tokyo, striking the film’s iconic poses with Allu Arjun. She thanked the city in her posts, writing: “Thank you, Tokyo.” She also shared the Japanese trailer for the film, greeting fans in Japanese and emphasizing that Pushpa is spreading its magic worldwide.

Box Office Success of ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Pushpa 2’
Pushpa 2, released in India in 2024, starred Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil. The film earned ₹1,234.1 crore net in India and a worldwide total of ₹1,742.1 crore. Its predecessor, Pushpa 1: The Rise (2021), collected ₹267.55 crore net in India and ₹350.1 crore worldwide.
