Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit is all set to dazzle audiences in her upcoming film ‘Mrs. Deshpande’, appearing in one of her most striking avatars to date. The first reactions to her performance are already praising her acting skills. The film’s teaser has been released, showing Madhuri quietly chopping vegetables in a seemingly ordinary domestic scene.
The teaser gives fans a glimpse into the mysterious world of ‘Mrs. Deshpande’, where Madhuri dons a simple yet glamorous look. While she hums the iconic song “Bholi Si Surat” from Dil To Pagal Hai, a radio bulletin discusses a serial killer, hinting at a suspenseful twist in the story.
A Hindi Adaptation of a French Thriller
Produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Kukanoor Movies, ‘Mrs. Deshpande’ is the Hindi remake of the French thriller ‘La Mante’. Alongside Madhuri, the film features Siddharth Chandekar and Priyanshu Chatterjee in lead roles.
Director Nagesh Kukunoor shared, “Working on ‘Mrs. Deshpande’ has been an incredibly entertaining journey. While developing the story, I could only envision Madhuri in the lead role. Watching her bring this challenging character to life has been immensely gratifying.”

Madhuri Dixit confirmed that ‘Mrs. Deshpande’ is unlike any of her previous films. The thriller will stream exclusively on Jio Hotstar starting 19 December 2025, promising an intriguing blend of suspense, glamour, and stellar performances.
