India’s most iconic OTT franchise Mirzapur is all set to make its big-screen debut. The theatrical release date has been officially announced as 4 September 2026, promising fans a larger-than-life experience of the ruthless and intense world of Mirzapur.

Produced under the banners of Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is being co-produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Kasim Jagmagia, and Vishal Ramchandani. Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, the film will showcase an untold story within the Mirzapur universe, taking the narrative to an even grander scale for cinema audiences.

The film will see the return of fan-favorites: Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, and Divyendu Sharma as Munna Bhaiya. In addition, the movie will feature actors such as Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Sonal Chauhan in pivotal roles.

Mirzapur first premiered in 2018 to massive acclaim, followed by its second season in 2020. The third season arrived in 2024, and preparations for the fourth season are already underway, with several parts currently in production. While fans eagerly await Mirzapur Season 4, it is expected to release between late 2025 and early 2026 on Amazon Prime Video, though an official date has yet to be confirmed.
