Mumbai: While Akshaye Khanna is making waves with his villainous role in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar, few know about his lesser-known half-brother, Sakshi Khanna, who has chosen a path far from the glitter of Bollywood.

Sakshi is the youngest son of the late legendary actor Vinod Khanna and his second wife Kavita Khanna, born on May 12, 1991, in Mumbai. He grew up surrounded by cinema, alongside his elder half-brothers Akshaye and Rahul Khanna, and his sister Shraddha Khanna.

From Films to Spirituality
Inspired by his filmic lineage, Sakshi worked in various capacities in the entertainment industry, including as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Milan Luthria’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara. He also explored acting, featuring in multiple short films, and even started his own production house. However, drawn by spirituality, Sakshi eventually turned away from the limelight, seeking a life of introspection and purpose.
