According to officials, Ajit Pawar was traveling from Mumbai to Baramati to attend a public gathering amidst ongoing local elections for district councils and panchayats. The crash occurred around 9 AM when the aircraft lost control during landing near Baramati. All passengers on board, including Pawar, tragically lost their lives, and the plane caught fire after impact.
