
Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu, who is currently engaged in a legal battle with his wife, recently visited Premanand Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan to seek blessings and spiritual guidance. During the meeting, Sanu performed his iconic song “Tum Dena Saath Mera O Hamnawa” for the revered spiritual leader. Premanand Ji Maharaj listened attentively, mesmerized by the performance, and later praised the singer.
Sanu, known for speaking candidly, has filed a defamation suit against his ex-wife, Rita Bhattacharya, in the Bombay High Court, seeking Rs 30 lakh in damages. He has requested the removal of interviews in which Rita allegedly made false and defamatory claims about him. This legal battle comes over 20 years after their divorce.
During the Vrindavan visit, Kumar Sanu expressed gratitude and devotion through his singing, while Premanand Ji Maharaj shared spiritual guidance, saying:
“Our breaths are precious. If we chant God’s name with these valuable breaths, our lives will be fulfilled. If your wish is for Lord Shiva, keep reciting His name.”
The video of the encounter quickly drew attention on social media, with devotees and fans commenting “Radhe-Radhe” to show their love and respect.
Kumar Sanu’s Personal Life
Kumar Sanu has been married twice. His first marriage was to Rita Bhattacharya in 1986, with whom he has two sons, including Jaan Kumar Sanu. He is currently married to Saloni Bhattacharya since 2001, and the couple has two daughters.
