KRK Claims Rajpal Yadav Doesn’t Want to Repay Debt; Questions Why Wife Isn’t in Jail Despite ₹50 Crore Property

Mumbai/Delhi: Actor and self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R. Khan (KRK) has once again commented on comedian Rajpal Yadav’s ongoing legal and financial troubles, raising eyebrows over the actor’s alleged unwillingness to repay debts. KRK claims that Rajpal owns property worth ₹50 crore but has not settled his loans, and he also questioned why Rajpal’s wife has not faced jail time.

KRK Speaks Out on Rajpal Yadav
KRK has been vocal on social media about Rajpal’s situation. On Thursday, he tweeted that a friend informed him about Rajpal’s substantial assets and accused the actor of deliberately avoiding repayment. KRK wrote, “This case is against Rajpal Yadav and his wife. So why isn’t his wife in jail? My friend has already received ₹1.5 crore, yet Rajpal owes money to several people in Bollywood and has not repaid it. A few months ago, he was buying an apartment for my friend.”

He further added, “According to my friend, Rajpal Yadav owns property worth ₹50 crore. This clearly shows he doesn’t want to pay his debts. Even his elder brother agrees.”

Earlier Promises of Help
Earlier, KRK had promised to help Rajpal financially, stating he would provide ₹10 lakh and instructed Rajpal’s wife to collect the cheque from his office. However, she is waiting for the outcome of the bail hearing.

Other Celebrities Extend Support
Singer Mika Singh has pledged both moral and financial assistance, offering ₹11 lakh and urging others to contribute collectively. Prior to this, actors like Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary had publicly voiced their support, and reports confirm that Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and several other Bollywood personalities have extended help to Rajpal during this difficult period.

Background of Rajpal Yadav’s Case
Rajpal Yadav’s troubles date back to 2010 when he borrowed ₹5 crore from Murli Projects Pvt. Ltd. to produce his first directed film, Ata Pata Lapata. The film flopped, leading to significant financial losses. Over time, interest, penalties, and delayed payments increased his dues to roughly ₹9 crore. Rajpal issued several cheques to settle these debts, but they bounced, triggering legal action.

On February 2, 2026, the Delhi High Court ordered Rajpal to surrender before jail authorities by February 4, 4 PM. Since then, he has been serving his sentence in Tihar Jail.

KRK’s comments have once again reignited public discussion about Rajpal Yadav’s financial responsibility, the involvement of his family, and the role of Bollywood celebrities in helping him navigate this crisis.
