
Actor Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, known for his controversial statements, has been arrested in connection with a two-round firing incident in Mumbai. The Oshiwara police took him into custody late Friday night. KRK has reportedly admitted to the firing during his statement to the authorities.
Police Detain KRK
KRK, the actor and social media personality, was apprehended by the Oshiwara police as the prime suspect in the case. He was brought to the Oshiwara police station on Friday evening. In his statement, KRK accepted responsibility for the firing and confirmed that it was carried out using his licensed firearm. The police have seized the weapon and are completing necessary formalities for further action.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, the firing took place on January 18 at a building in Oshiwara, Andheri. Two bullets were recovered from the Nalanda Society premises — one from the second floor and another from the fourth floor. One of the flats belongs to a writer-director, and the other to a model. The investigation is being handled by a team of 18 officers from Oshiwara Police Station, along with several Crime Branch units, led by Sanjay Chavan.
CCTV Footage and Forensics
Initially, CCTV footage provided no clues, but forensic analysis later confirmed that the bullets were fired from KRK’s residence.

Police sources indicate that the formal arrest procedures are ongoing, and KRK’s official arrest could be finalized by Saturday morning.
