Kartik Aryan-Ananya Panday’s Flop Rom-Com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri Now Streaming on OTT for ₹349

Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday’s romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is now available on OTT after its theatrical release, but viewers will have to pay ₹349 to watch it. The film, which hit cinemas during the Christmas 2025 weekend, failed to make an impact at the box office and received lukewarm responses from audiences.

OTT Premiere Details

The movie has premiered on Amazon Prime Video, where it is currently available on a rental basis. Even subscribers of the platform will need to rent the film for ₹349 to watch it. Amazon Prime Video typically releases films for rental first and gradually includes them in the streaming library for subscribers.

Kartik Aryan’s Record Fee Despite Flop

Despite the film’s poor box office performance, Kartik Aryan reportedly received one of the highest fees of his career for this project. According to sources, Dharma Productions paid Kartik ₹50 crore for the film, starring Ananya Panday and directed by Sameer Vidwans. This is said to be the largest fee paid to an actor by Dharma Productions after Ranbir Kapoor.

A source added, “Receiving ₹50 crore from a production house like Dharma is extremely unusual. Kartik’s market value rose significantly after films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Chandu Champion. After Dostana 2, this was his eagerly awaited first project with Dharma Productions.”

Interestingly, Kartik reportedly waived ₹15 crore of his fee shortly after the release to support the producers.

Box Office Performance

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri had a total budget of ₹90 crore but earned only ₹32.95 crore domestically and ₹49.5 crore worldwide, marking one of the biggest flops in Kartik Aryan’s career. Daily collections were as follows:

  • Day 1: ₹7.5 crore
  • Day 2: ₹5.25 crore
  • Day 3: ₹5.5 crore
  • Day 4: ₹5 crore
  • Day 6: ₹1.75 crore
  • Day 7: ₹1.85 crore
  • Day 8: ₹1.3 crore
  • Day 9: ₹0.5 crore
  • Day 10: ₹0.65 crore

Conclusion

While the film underperformed at the box office, the OTT release gives audiences a chance to watch the star-studded romantic comedy from the comfort of home—albeit for a rental fee. The combination of Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday, along with Dharma Productions’ backing, ensures continued curiosity, even if the theatrical response was disappointing.
