Singer Kanika Kapoor is on cloud nine as her track Mahakumbh from the album Sounds of Kumbh has secured a Grammy nomination. The song has not only captivated audiences across India but has also garnered international attention, earning millions of views on YouTube.

A Milestone in International Recognition
Kanika Kapoor’s work on Sounds of Kumbh has earned her a nomination in the Best International Music Album category at the 68th Grammy Awards. The album is inspired by one of India’s most spiritual gatherings, the Mahakumbh Mela, and Kanika’s vocals on the title track Mahakumbh have been widely appreciated.

The album was produced by Siddhant Bhatia in collaboration with over 50 musicians from India and around the world. The team dedicated months to creating songs reflecting the essence of the Kumbh festival, and their hard work has paid off, with the album receiving international acclaim.

Sounds of Kumbh features 12 tracks that celebrate the faith, rituals, and culture of the Kumbh Mela. The album has been praised globally for its creativity and cultural authenticity.

Kanika Kapoor: Journey to Stardom
Hailing from Lucknow, Kanika Kapoor moved to Mumbai in 2012 to pursue music. She first gained attention with her track Jugni Ji the same year. Her Bollywood breakthrough came with the chart-topping song Baby Doll from Ragini MMS 2 (2014), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Singer.
