Convicted conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is currently lodged in jail in connection with high-profile fraud and money laundering cases, has once again grabbed headlines with sensational claims involving Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. In a letter reportedly written on Christmas, Sukesh has claimed that he gifted Jacqueline a luxury bungalow in Beverly Hills as a Christmas present.
According to IANS, Sukesh expressed his affection for the actress in the letter, addressing her as “baby” and referring to the alleged property as “The Love Nest.” He claimed that the house was specially built for her and completed as a Christmas gift.
“On this auspicious day, I gift you ‘The Love Nest’—your new home, our new home, in Beverly Hills. I am proud to say that I completed it for you and am gifting it to you today, on Christmas,” the letter read.
Sukesh further claimed that the property was larger than initially planned and even included a private 19-hole golf course, describing it as more luxurious than their original vision.
Claim of Bidding for IPL Team RCB
The letter did not stop at the alleged property gift. Sukesh also claimed that he was working to fulfil another of Jacqueline’s dreams—owning an IPL team. He asserted that he had placed a bid for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
“I want to surprise you with another dream I am working on—becoming the owner of an IPL team. I have placed a bid for RCB, and by God’s grace, we will have a stake in it,” he wrote.
Background of the Controversy
Sukesh Chandrasekhar and Jacqueline Fernandez came into the spotlight following investigations into a multi-crore fraud and money laundering case. Sukesh has been accused of orchestrating large-scale financial scams even while incarcerated and allegedly targeting several high-profile individuals.
During the probe, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with gifts allegedly received from Sukesh. The actress has consistently maintained that she was unaware of his criminal background and has stated that she has fully cooperated with investigating agencies.
Case Still Under Legal Scrutiny
The matter continues to remain under judicial and investigative review, and Sukesh’s claims made in personal letters have not been independently verified. The controversy has reignited debates around celebrity accountability, misuse of wealth, and the intersection of glamour and financial crime.
