Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is all set to make his big-screen debut with the war drama ‘Ikkis’, which also marks the final film of veteran actor Dharmendra. Just days before its release, the cast fees for the film have been revealed, and some of the numbers are surprising.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film features Agastya Nanda, Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Simar Bhatia in pivotal roles.
Cast Fees:
- Agastya Nanda: Playing the lead role of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, Agastya reportedly received ₹70 lakh for his performance in the biographical war drama.
- Jaideep Ahlawat: Known for his intense acting, Jaideep has been cast in a significant role and reportedly earned ₹50 lakh.
- Dharmendra: The legendary actor, whose performance in the trailer has already been praised, received ₹20 lakh for his final film role.
- Simar Bhatia: Akshay Kumar’s niece makes her Bollywood debut in ‘Ikkis’ and was reportedly paid ₹5 lakh for the film.
About ‘Ikkis’
The film is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra awardee Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred at the age of 21 during the 1971 India-Pakistan war. The title ‘Ikkis’ refers to his age at the time of sacrifice. Besides being Agastya’s debut, the film holds sentimental value as Dharmendra’s last cinematic appearance.
Release Update
Originally scheduled for release on 25 December 2025, the film’s date was postponed due to the box-office success of ‘Dhurandhar’. The makers decided that ‘Ikkis’ deserves an exclusive release and have now slated it for 1 January 2026.
