
Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma, known for his hit songs, is now in the news for a controversial reason. On 9 February, a vehicle from Sharma’s convoy reportedly hit a woman riding a scooter in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The woman, identified as Brijesh Gautam, suffered a fractured leg and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred around 9 PM on GT Road while Sharma was en route to perform at the annual fair at Numais Ground in Aligarh. Despite the accident, the singer continued with his performance at the event, leaving the victim upset.
Brijesh Gautam expressed her frustration, saying, “Someone came with a cloth and said they would arrange my treatment, but no one came to check on my condition. My leg is completely damaged because of this accident.”
Police Statement on the Incident
Local police confirmed that the accident took place on the night of 9 February, 2026. Upon receiving information about the collision, the police arrived at the scene and immediately sent the injured woman to the hospital. Legal proceedings are currently underway regarding the matter.
Masoom Sharma and Previous Controversies
Masoom Sharma, 35, is a prominent Haryanvi singer. He has previously faced controversy over some of his songs, including “Tuition Badmashi Ka” and “60 Mukadme,” which were removed from YouTube by the Haryana government for allegedly promoting gun culture. He also faced an FIR in Chandigarh for his song “Chambal Ke Daku.” His popular tracks include “Jab Naam Bhole Ka,” “2 Nambri,” “Gunde Te Pyar,” and “Badmashan Ka Byah.”
This recent accident adds to the scrutiny surrounding Masoom Sharma, as authorities and the public await updates on legal actions and accountability for the incident.
