Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Sunday, February 15. Adding to the excitement, renowned Indian rapper and singer Hanumankind is set to perform live, entertaining the crowd before the match begins.
Hanumankind, whose real name is Suraj Cherukat, recently rose to fame with the title track of the film ‘Dhurandhar’ and has also featured in several high-profile soft drink advertisements. According to organizers, Hanumankind’s performance will start one hour before the match, at approximately 6:00 PM IST (local time in Sri Lanka), ahead of the official toss scheduled at 7:00 PM IST. With rain forecasted in Colombo later in the day, the organizers have allotted an extra 60 minutes to ensure the pre-match festivities and the match itself proceed smoothly.
The India-Pakistan T20 rivalry is historically one of the most fiercely contested in cricket. India has dominated the head-to-head in T20 World Cups, with a record of 7-1, including three victories in the 2025 Asia Cup.
