Ranveer Singh’s mega-blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ is now gearing up for a digital debut on OTT, following its phenomenal theatrical run. The film has already crossed the ₹1,300 crore mark worldwide on its 55th day at the box office and is set to release online in an extended, uncut version.
OTT Release Details
Fans eagerly awaiting the OTT release can expect the uncut version of the film on Netflix, although the platform has yet to officially announce the release date. Media reports suggest that the film is likely to go digital on 30 January 2026. The extended version will offer viewers additional scenes beyond the 3 hours 34 minutes runtime of the theatrical cut.
Box Office Performance
Despite competition from ‘Border 2’, ‘Dhurandhar’ continued to perform impressively. On its 55th day, the spy-action thriller earned ₹35 lakh in India, following ₹50 lakh the previous day. The film has achieved a net collection of ₹835.50 crore and a gross collection of ₹1,002.35 crore domestically. It has become the first Indian film in a single language to surpass ₹1,000 crore in gross collection.
Worldwide Collections
The film’s overseas performance has been equally remarkable, grossing ₹298.65 crore. Combining domestic and international revenue, ‘Dhurandhar’ has crossed a total gross of ₹1,301 crore worldwide within 55 days of release.
OTT Rights Deal
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film premiered in theaters on 5 December 2025. Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for both ‘Dhurandhar’ and its sequel ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in a deal worth ₹130 crore, promising an exciting OTT experience for fans.
Context
While ‘Dhurandhar’ continues its theatrical run, the six-day-old ‘Border 2’ has seen a decline in collections, earning ₹13 crore on Wednesday, down from ₹20 crore on Tuesday and ₹59 crore on Republic Day. The contrast highlights the enduring popularity of Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster.
With the extended uncut version coming to OTT, audiences can look forward to a fresh and immersive experience of the action-packed thriller.
