Actor Parag Tyagi has returned to work eight months after the passing of his wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, bringing relief and happiness to fans. Recently, Tyagi shared a promo video for his upcoming show “Chandanbala” on Instagram, prompting heartfelt reactions from his followers, who expressed support and encouragement. Many wrote that his continued dedication to acting would honor Shefali’s memory and bring peace to her soul.

Coping with a tragic loss

Shefali Jariwala passed away in June 2025, leaving Parag Tyagi devastated. Over the past months, he had been cherishing her memory in personal ways—having her photo tattooed on his chest and keeping reminders of her throughout his home. However, he is now gradually moving forward and focusing on his career again.

The promo video of “Chandanbala” shows Tyagi in a powerful role. Actress Aarti Singh commented, “All the best, bhaiya,” while Jasveer Kaur called it “fantastic.” Fans flooded the post with messages of encouragement, including comments such as, “Keep acting like this; it will bring peace to Shefali’s soul,” “Full support,” and “Can’t wait for the show to release.”

Parag Tyagi made his acting debut with the TV show Pavitra Rishta and went on to star in popular series including Brahmarakshas, Jodha Akbar, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. He has also appeared in Hindi and Telugu films, making his film debut with the thriller A Wednesday and featuring in movies such as Sarkar 3 and the Telugu film Agnyaathavaasi.

Shefali Jariwala gained fame with the song “Kanta Laga”. She passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 42 in her Mumbai residence. Jariwala had appeared in Bigg Boss 13, Salman Khan’s film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and the web series Baby Come Na.
