Scheduled for release on 19 March, the teaser was preceded by the film’s first poster, which showed a bloodied Ranveer Singh, hinting at a high-octane and violent sequel.

However, viewers quickly expressed dissatisfaction online. The 1 minute 12 second teaser primarily showcased Ranveer Singh, with only brief appearances by Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. Many fans felt it offered nothing new beyond the post-credit scene of the first film, focusing on existing plot points such as Lyari coming under Hamza’s control.
